Founded in 1996, A.J. Watch Repairs is an Australian-owned and operated family business with nearly 30 years of experience in professional watch servicing.

We are an authorized service centre for 14 international watch brands.

Through our sister company Stella Timepieces, we also import and distribute premium watch brands.

Our purpose-built service centre in Canberra is equipped with leading-edge technology and specialized tools, enabling our team to service and refinish timepieces to factory specifications. We are proud to be recognized as an industry service leader within the Australian watchmaking sector.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Watchmaker / Watch Technician to join our Canberra-based service centre.

This position is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and servicing of mechanical and quartz watches in accordance with manufacturer standards, while maintaining strict quality control procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Minor and major watch repairs 
• Full mechanical and quartz overhauls 
• Movement exchanges 
• Bracelet and strap adjustments 
• Battery replacement and pressure testing 
• Case polishing and refinishing 
• Workshop cleanliness and organization 
• Participation in technical training 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Previous watch industry experience (essential) 
• Strong mechanical aptitude 
• High attention to detail 
• Excellent manual dexterity 
• Willingness to undertake training 
• Organised and professional work practices
